Lightworks Recovery was created by Marjorie Yates, a veteran of the Peer movement. A person in long-term recovery, she has trained and supervised Peer Specialists since 2009. She has helped hundreds in their journey to certification and employment. In 2018, she created a statewide initiative, the PRS Stakeholders Roundtable, to bring t
Lightworks Recovery was created by Marjorie Yates, a veteran of the Peer movement. A person in long-term recovery, she has trained and supervised Peer Specialists since 2009. She has helped hundreds in their journey to certification and employment. In 2018, she created a statewide initiative, the PRS Stakeholders Roundtable, to bring together employers, stakeholders, and leaders in the Peer movement in order to further the development of the Peer workforce, and advocate for increased Medicaid reimbursement for Peer Support. Her passion is inspiring Recovery Professionals to create the lives they want to live.

Our trainings emphasize the power of lived experience, combined with the proper communication tools, that make Peer Specialists a vital, powerful part of any team. Lightworks trainings
